Chinese New Year Forecast, The Metal Ox, Short Version

Ralph & Lahni have been doing a western style forecast using the New Moon in Aquarius, the Chinese New Year, for more than twenty years and it has proven to be a very reliable indicator of what is coming in the year ahead. This is the short (8 minute) version featuring Ralph, that refers to the 28-minute forecast that the two of them did together. What do they see for the year ahead? Climate emergencies and governmental actions to change the destructive course that society is on. In Washington DC a new crop of young people coming into the government and changing the ways that it works in fundamental ways. Saudi Arabia is isolated, Russian is wounded by their previous partnerships, and China is struggling under a continuing health crisis. The United States is back big time and if you want to know more, watch the videos.

Ralph & Lahni have been doing a western style forecast using the New Moon in Aquarius, the Chinese New Year, for more than twenty years and it has proven to be a very reliable indicator of what is coming in the year ahead. This is the long (28 minute) version featuring both Ralph and Lahni. What do they see for the year ahead? A Special Election Forecast

This is our actual successful forecast of the winners of the 2020 election, primarily by looking at 2021 from an Astrological perspective.
So, what are the planets saying about the future? Let’s start with the elections! We learned the hard way that the best way to get an accurate answer is not by looking at the chart of Election Day. The chart that is more telling is the one is for the coming year, when the impact of the election will be seen, and that chart tells an interesting story.
To get the full picture, let’s go back to mid-September when Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto in compressive Capricorn started moving forward again. They have been crushing the world, and especially the USA, all year. But, as 2020 ends, Jupiter and Saturn meet in a powerful conjunction at zero degrees Aquarius. Known as the Water Pourer, Aquarius will begin ‘pouring’ a powerful light on the Earth for the common good. While that doesn’t show who will win the election, it does say that a big shift is happening from conservative, bureaucratic Capricorn into innovative, global-minded Aquarius. Next, we consulted the New Moon in Aquarius chart, for February 11th, 2021, that marks the Chinese, or Lunar New Year. That’s the seed chart for the coming year and it gives us a clear a picture of what’s ahead. On the Lunar New Year, the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn will be in Aquarius. Mercury and Saturn will be especially powerful, since Saturn elevates mature men who are concerned with the common good, and who are open to new ideas. That seems to describe lifelong public servant Joe Biden, who is obviously open to the ‘new idea’ of a woman as his Vice President. That Mercury celebrates youthful advocates and attorneys, which sounds quite a bit like former California Attorney General and US Senator, Kamala Harris. Take note though, with Mars and Uranus in Taurus, the Sign of Mother Earth, climate change will be a central subject in 2021. Here’s another perspective. We frequently use Astro*Carto*Graphy maps as a forecasting tool and, at the Lunar New Year, the planetary lines of all those planets in Aquarius cross over the United States, so the global spotlight will be focused here on the USA for 2021.
That powerful Saturn over California shows the Golden State being taken very seriously, as a stabilizing force for the global community. Maybe the Vice President will be someone born in Oakland? Also, Pisces is the sign of the federal government, so Neptune over Washington DC, could show the bureaucracy restoring itself behind the scenes. We think that in 2021, the United States will get back on its feet and regain its international stature, but as an equal member of the global community, rather than the sole leader.
If Trump continues in office, we would expect his allies, like Russia and Saudi Arabia, to have great planetary lines crossing over them, as they have had for the past few years. But in 2021, Moscow has a solitary line overhead, a Chiron partnership line. This shows them possibly suffering through their connection with an impetuous, wounded person. They might be going through one of those painful ‘learning’ experiences related to the global community.
There is a solitary Pluto ‘home’ line crossing over Saudi Arabia, a country controlled by a family that has serious stock in Fox News. After Pluto’s previous conjunction with Saturn and Jupiter, it looks forward to being isolated in conservative Capricorn. This indicates a diminished, solitary influence, out of step with a world moving away from fossil fuels. Based on these maps, 2021 is not the bringer of good news for those two countries.
For some insight into the pandemic, Beijing is crossed by a Chiron ‘home’ line. That indicates continuing issues with disease and health, which is not surprising due to their rapidly aging demographic and extreme population density. There may be a local resurgence of COVID, or a new pandemic caused by overpopulation. In years when China was economically booming, the Sun and Moon lines were over the ‘Middle Kingdom’ at the Lunar New Year. But in 2021, the Sun is again shining on the United States of America. The Long Range Forecast

From 2017 to 2022. We did this forecast in 2016 to see what to expect during what has turned out to be a tumultous time. We forecast the turmoil, but we underestimated the impact it would have on the global scene.
